According to a Leicester City expert, these four Foxes stars are expected to leave the east Midlands club at end of season. Foxes of Leicester offer opinion on that suggestion, along with looking at LCFC’s Championship run-in for the lead up to Christmas.

During his Leicester City Football Club question and answer session on Tuesday, Leicester Mercury reporter Jordan Blackwell was asked about contract renewals. Blackwell claims that nothing is in the works in that respect. However, the subject of transfers was raised, or, more accurately, which Foxes he predicts to depart Filbert Way.

The journalist says that, even though LCFC manager Enzo Maresca admires the pair, Jannik Vestergaard and Dennis Praet might go. While the former also suspects Marc Albrighton and Alex Smithies to both be on the way out in 2024.

How does Leicester City’s fixture schedule look as the New Year approaches?

OK, let’s take a look at upcoming LCFC matches. First of all, following what I labelled an uninspiring defeat to Leeds United last Friday, the east Midlanders play Middlesbrough in the league. The game takes place on Saturday at Riverside Stadium. Boro are considered a threat, in spite of being in an inconsequential seeming and unthreatening 12th position.

After playing Michael Carrick’s men, the Foxes entertain Watford at King Power Stadium on November 25. The Hornets are a disappointing 16th. Next up will be bottom-place Sheffield Wednesday on the 29th. West Bromwich Albion are the initial opponents of December, on the 2nd. The Baggies should be tricky opposition as they reside in the playoff section of the table.

19th and 18th placed Plymouth Argyle and Millwall are respectively next on the list; Leicester will certainly seek two victories in those outings. An underperforming Birmingham City are on December 18; a currently lowly Rotherham United are the last team prior to the holidays.
