Leicester 2-0 Watford: Foxes player ratings after dominant display
By Nathan Wong
Stephy Mavididi- 7/10
A positive display from the winger, who created several good chances which his teammates were just not able to finish off. He engaged in a good battle against his full-back as well, getting past him on several occasions with clever movement and trickery. His finishing does need improvement but this is something that can be coached, and it is encouraging he is often getting in the right positions.
Leicester City Substitutes:
Abdul Fatawu- 6/10
Looked positive and lively when coming on, creating a couple of chances but this promise was not sustained as he faded.
Jamie Vardy- 8/10
Missed two sitters not long after coming on, making many fans wonder if he was having one of those days. It says a lot about the mentality of the Leicester City legend to put those misses behind him and score a brace to wrap up three points. His movement in behind helped to win the penalty that wrapped up the game.
Cesare Casadei- 6/10
His first touch was once again poor, and a symptom that will prevent Casadei from being the first choice option going forward. However, he was strong aerially and his flick-on to Vardy resulted in LCFC’s late penalty.
Yunus Akgun- N/A- Not on the pitch for long enough to make a decisive impact either way.
