The King Power International Group, the Thai firm that owns and operates Leicester City Football Club, have had a monumentally bad year. Not only did they oversee their men's side relegated from the Premier League one year ago, but double demotions occurred for that team and the Women's Foxes simultaneously this season.

What a contemporaneous mess on Filbert Way; the King Power plonkers, along with Jon "rudderless" Rudkin, really have done a number on the club. It is easy to see why a ridiculous amount of the Blue Army wish for chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, and his chief football officer, to leave as soon as possible!

This summer is actually the most important in their respective careers, not to mention for the Leicestershire organisation itself, as poor finance and obscurity could threaten them in an existential manner. Hopefully that possibility is more unlikely than likely.

Many of the male stars will depart over this summer, and in addition to that number, a lot of the valuable and standout female footballers were expected to go as well. While Abdul Fatawu may leave the outfit, a counterpart is set to remain with the club.

Alisha Lehmann on Leicester City

Hannah Cain, Chantelle Swaby and Rosella Ayane might have moved on to pastures new following the agonising relegation play-off defeat to Charlton Athletic, though famous baller Alisha Lehmann will stay to help the club rebuild. Addressing the speculation surrounding her future and the side's plummet into the second tier, Lehmann has reaffirmed her commitment to the project.

"Despite experiencing minimal match action following a high-profile winter switch, the digital superstar remains entirely committed to engineering a rapid promotion charge back to the top tier."

Before arriving at the King Power, Lehmann cultivated a formidable reputation across the European footballing landscape, notably featuring for West Ham United, Everton and Aston Villa. Her tenure within the Women’s Super League has been marked by both significant commercial visibility and, arguably, consistent technical contributions on the pitch.
