While Leicester City's Blue Army would much prefer to be flying higher in a divisional sense, fans must come to terms with their collective plight. Indeed, the Foxes flew too close to the sun; Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha and right-hand man Jon Rudkin were drastically inept and inadequate pilots.

The inevitable descent saw a adept manager come aboard with a brief ascent - before abruptly leaving. A rapid spiral subsequently enveloped King Power Stadium and its loyal faithful.

On the way down, extra, undesirable passengers, in every sense of the word, were collected. They included so-called head coaches and footballers; it was merely deadweight! The East Midlanders are yet to hit rock bottom, but are feared to be heading that way!

Will an equilibrium, and consequent climb, be attained this season? Possibly; a gaffer will be needed though - if somebody can give Top a nudge!

Yet bookmakers are confident of an LCFC triumph in tier three. Meanwhile, City's apparent war chest eclipses division rivals. Therefore, it isn't all doom and gloom on Filbert Way.

It is actually high time for the support, along with the club, to plan. To that end, here is key transfer, release day, kick-off, cup and television coverage information.
