According to various reports from a varying quality of source, Leicester City Football Club are indeed scouting. The Foxes are said to have transfer targets which they would like to move on before the summer window finishes up. The East Midlands side already have a reported £40 million war chest made from sales as well. So there is no reason, as long as Profit and Sustainability issues are finally settled, for the King Power team to hold back from signing.
Hopefully LCFC don't merely pocket the proceeds in some way, saying the desperately needed funds are for a rainy day. Or it's for the supposed ground expansion! Yet nothing ever happens; underwhelming acquisition Asmir Begovic still remains the only buy. Meanwhile stars and peripheral squad members are continuously sold. A plethora of City players also remain linked with moves away from Filbert Way.
Much of the roster appears to be essentially up for sale; offers will generally be listened to in this Leicester fire sale. The Blue Army fan base is collectively concerned about one or two Foxes. And, in relation to standout ballers, manager Marti Cifuentes has now given two major hints that one Leicester star is set for a switch.
Marti Cifuentes gives two major hints that Leicester City star Bilal El Khannouss is about to leave
First of all, El Khannouss is a brilliant footballer. In my opinion, he's only going to improve and become more influential. However, we don't want anyone at LCFC who doesn't want to he here! And the Morocco international reportedly wants to go.
Firstly, Cifuentes substituted the former Genk man at half-time against Preston North End for a poor performance. Yet a further quote and instance leads Foxes of Leicester to believe that El Khannouss is leaving.
"Cifuentes was asked on Thursday if El Khannouss is available for selection when City travel to Charlton. He chose not to give a clear yes or no, only replying: “He was training well today."
Cifuentes refused to directly discuss the playmaker's possible involvement verses Charlton Athletic. Subsequently, El Khannouss was left out of the squad for the Addicks fixture.
