Leicester City have seemingly turned a corner under latest head coach Marti Cifuentes. Although, hold on, I have just had a wave of Déjà vu envelope me. I have also possibly plagiarised my own previous writing. Allow me to explain.
You see, we've been here before. This is not the first time in which we presume, or assume, that the modern Foxes side's form will improve in a consistent sense this season. On two other occasions, I expected and wrote that Cifuentes' men might have made a collective U-turn.
Unfortunately for my credibility and Foxes of Leicester's readership - I was incorrect in both instances! But none of us are perfect; aside from, maybe, (Sir) Jamie Vardy. Irrespective of whether I envision a promotion push on Filbert Way from now until the end of the current campaign, this is surely LCFC's final chance to obtain advancement in 2025/26.
Many observers, fans and pundits will be wondering where the East Midlands side will end up this term. And they aren't the only ones: writers like ourselves are struggling to get to grips with, or gauge, how this year will culminate. We have hope - yet all supporters do, futile or otherwise.
Cifuentes holds that same Premier League aspiration with huge uncertainty too. However, I may now be able borrow a crystal ball and look into the future for the Catalonian.
A quite fascinating supercomputer prediction claims Leicester City will reach English Football League Championship Playoffs - but only just
Let's have a look at the latest computer projection from AceOdds with respect to Leicester's possible finishing position in the league table. Above City are Coventry City, Middlesbrough (first and second for the automatic places), Ipswich Town, Southampton and Birmingham City.

2: Middlesbrough - 80 pts
3: Ipswich Town - 80 pts
4: Southampton - 73 pts
5: Birmingham City - 68 pts

This means Leicester City will apparently make sixth - by one point! Portsmouth, Oxford United and Sheffield Wednesday are forecast to be relegated.
