Things haven't gone according to plan for manager Marti Cifuentes at Leicester City. For a while there, it looked like the Catalan had established a foundation for his Foxes team to build upon. Yet a disastrous week in the East Midlands, East Yorkshire and Southeast London has potentially derailed an automatic Championship promotion push. Not to mention placing the former Queens Park Rangers head coach's job in potential jeopardy as well.

In addition to those bad elements for the King Power side, further disaster has occurred at LCFC. An injured loan star is said to be facing multiple weeks out, according to Leicester Mercury. While further tests and analysis are required, the prognosis sounds particularly ominous. What's the score?

Increasing problems at Leicester City due to poor form and now injured loan star Aaron Ramsey who may be unavailable for around a month

The aforementioned outlet have revealed that Leicester midfielder Aaron Ramsey, on loan from Premier League surprise package Burnley, damaged his hamstring. This occurred as the second half began at Millwall's ground, The Den.

Ramsey's career on Filbert Way started badly when he was dismissed for a dangerous challenge on Oxford United's Filip Krastev. However since returning from his ban, he has scored two goals; putting the 22-year-old second in City's scoring charts.

Although, LCFC Live report that Ramsey 'felt a pop' in his leg. This likely means that, they speculate, he is 'set for a stint on the sidelines'. The player was sprinting when the injury was sustained. Julian Carranza replaced his teammate but struggled again.

What Marti Cifuentes said of the incident

Albeit Cifuentes was more optimistic than the Mercury. The 43-year-old remarked that it would be 'difficult' to theorise how 'bad' the issue is right now.

"Further analysis of Ramsey’s injury is required over the next few days to determine its severity, but it has the potential to put him out for at least a few weeks."

Ramsey was a standout in the Lions game. LCFC's best moves 'flowed through him', it is claimed. Oh dear!
