Harry Souttar has had a nightmare couple of seasons with injury difficulties at Leicester City.
Souttar would rupture his anterior cruciate ligament out on loan with Sheffield United during the 2024/25 season, and he would only return from this horrible setback in April of this year.
Staggeringly, this means the 27-year-old had been in the treatment room for a crazy 468 days, missing 83 games for the Blades and the Foxes, consequently.
He has since bounced back from this demoralising hitch, though, with Souttar featuring towards the latter stages of last season for Leicester, and sticking out, despite the Midlands giants' relegation fate already being known.
Indeed, the 6-foot-6 giant would valiantly win nine duels during the final game of the season against Blackburn Rovers, showing off the towering beast's ability to win aerial duels for fun, even with nothing riding on the dead rubber affair.
Shining bright at the 2026 World Cup for Australia, too, with ten duels won during their round of 32 encounter with Egypt, he is now appearing on many a Championship shopping list, with various second tier clubs wanting to take a gamble on the injury-prone defender after the Foxes' relegation.

Souttar has been linked with a switch to Sheffield United, West Ham United and Wrexham among many other clubs this summer, with the Championship trio clearly taken aback by the lofty titan's imperious performances at the World Cup.

Indeed, EFL-focused journalist Alan Nixon has revealed that the one-time Premier League champions want £10m for Souttar this summer, despite his lengthy spells out of the team through injury.
This does feel like a steep amount to part ways with for a player who missed 83 games across the last two full campaigns, but if they can gain £20m for Fatawu, who also had his own unfortunate luck with lengthy afflictions, the Foxes will believe they can get £10m out of a potential suitor for Souttar, as well.
At the end of the day, when he's fit, he is an accomplished star in the taxing division that is the Championship, with his brief spell at Bramall Lane during the 24/25 season seeing him collect a remarkable 13 clean sheets, from only 21 outings.
With the South Yorkshire outfit in the hunt to win him back permanently, journalist Alan Biggs - who specialises on EFL football in Sheffield - has declared this as a "monumental signing" if it can be pulled off, with United leaking a damaging 66 goals last season in league action.
With six goals under his belt in the EFL, too, as a forceful presence from corners, the Foxes must believe one of the interested parties sniffing around will be willing to cough up £10m, even if that figure does initially arch an eyebrow.
