Leicester fans will absolutely be concerned about the quality and depth of their current squad, even after a decent tier three overhaul this summer. Obviously making progress under a manager like Russell Martin is never a foregone conclusion either.
But the value of the Foxes roster is transferred elsewhere and matters in other areas as well. You see, the new EA FC27 Ultimate Team Ratings are out.
Indeed, and unfortunately for those sensitive supporters amongst us, the East Midlands team has been rated poorly. Hold onto your seats, but don't hold your breath, because this isn't easy reading for the Blue Army.
Surprising Leicester City player who's likely to leave King Power Stadium tops Foxes ratings
Topping the list at 74 overall is Wout Faes, which is frankly shockingly comical at this stage; he boasts 50 pace, 39 shooting, 54 passing, 60 dribbling, 74 defending, and 75 physical. Harry Souttar follows in second at 72 overall, recording 71 pace, 67 shooting, 73 passing, 46 dribbling, and 56 defending across his key attributes.
Caleb Okoli comes in at 71 overall, with 55 pace, 47 shooting, 64 passing, 67 dribbling, 69 defending, and 69 physical to his name. Coulibaly also holds a solid 71 rating, placing him alongside Okoli in the squad's upper mid-tier.
Conor Chaplin matches that same 71 mark, bringing 73 pace, 52 shooting, 66 passing, 71 dribbling, and 69 defending to the side. At 70 overall, Oliver Skipp, Stephy Mavididi, and Jakub Stolarczyk all sit at this level as standalone base cards.
The wait is over 😭
