Leicester City faced Ipswich Town as the promoted rivals looked to improve their respective chances of retaining their Premier League places. With the points shared, here are three Foxes who either helped Leicester or hindered the side.
The King Power side will end the day 15th in the Premier League on 10 points after 10 matches played. After a 1-1 draw with their fellow promoted side, the Foxes will be looking back at missed opportunities and what was a fairly strong starting XI failing to make a meaningful impact. Some of the players did not do what they were meant to do, whereas others did exactly what they had to do.
We had recommended three players who should have started here, and had noted the positive impact Boubakary Soumare made versus Nottingham Forest, so it was interesting to see a strong but almost too safe starting XI. There was no Kasey McAteer until later in the match, yet Steve Cooper did start Victor Kristiansen who we had put forward as a contender.
