Leicester having quality keepers and developing good up-and-comers appears to be a mainstay aspect of the club. Fans have watched Mads Hermansen in between the posts for a number of years now. With relegation happening, most expect the current Foxes number one to still be playing at the Premier League level next year. If not in the EPL, then the Danish keeper will find good first-team action in another league in that country's respective top division.

Either way, Hermansen staying with the Foxes for too much longer is looking less and less likely. This will provide an excellent opportunity for Jakub Stolarczyk. Having been with LCFC since 2017, the 24-year-old has made appearances for the Polish national team at the youth levels. He'll be looking to play more regularly in the starting XI at his club, likely hoping to also get increased consideration for Poland's national team.

Sticking with City, there is a reason why those at Seagrave are excited about what Stolarczyk can bring. His range, reflexes, and athleticism make him an intriguing talent that LCFC will be confident in naming as the new Foxes number one.

Many changes happening at Leicester

It's that time for the club where a lot of moving pieces are going to be a part of the operations during the upcoming summer transfer window. Some who have been with City for a while are likely to swap their jerseys for 2025-2026. This will include Hermansen and possibly Jamie Vardy and others whom City fans have grown accustomed to watching play at King Power Stadium.

It's not a glamorous part to think about, but the business aspect is a reality for relegated sides in particular. One small positive angle to take from the upcoming changes is that it will give someone like Stolarczyk the chance to prove himself. At least at keeper, Leicester should be in safe hands for the time being.
