Jamie Vardy has spoken rather openly about Leicester City's struggles. However, he does not blame Ruud van Nistelrooy, who is still new.

When Leicester City hired Ruud van Nistelrooy as their replacement manager for Steve Cooper, Leicester fans were sold a dream. The Dutch manager seemed to grasp the nettle immediately and his first couple of results in the Leicester dugout were phenomenal.

However, since his arrival, Ruud van Nistelrooy has struggled to maintain the form held by Leicester. In fact, the Foxes have lost their last six Premier League games, which is not good for their relegation concerns.

Now, Jamie Vardy has addressed the issue at hand.

Speaking to TNT Sport (quoted by BBC Sport), Jamie Vardy has addressed Leicester's lack of form and how frustrating he understands it will be for fans. However, Vardy did stick up for Ruud van Nistelrooy, claiming that it only takes the players following his plan for 90 minutes for it to click.

In his own words, Vardy said: "We've not been with the gaffer that long and we're getting better and better with how he wants us to play. We need to do it for the full 90 and everything clicks."

Vardy then addressed the impact that Leicester's recent form has had on the leaderboard. He reminded the world, and probably his players too, that football is a results business. Therefore, Leicester must hope for a quick turnaround to better their chances this season.

Concluding, Vardy said: "There's always confidence but we've not been able to get those results. Football is a results business. We've not got the result we wanted tonight but it's a quick turnaround."

It can be said with certainty that both Leicester players and Leicester fans will hope for a quick turnaround in their results. Recently, it has been a grim feeling to be a Leicester fan, helplessly watching the Foxes become their own worst enemy.

Currently, Leicester are second from bottom in the Premier League. However, only two points separate them and safety. Now, it is just a case of turning their form around before it's too late.

Heading into this season, it was difficult to predict whether Leicester would stay up. While they did have a dominant season in the Championship, the Foxes lost some key players and importantly their manager too.

Now, it is in Leicester fans' interest to get behind Ruud. Toxicity helps nobody.
