There has been a reported blow for Leicester City Football Club with one of their loan men suffering injury. The player will now return home for treatment and an assessment. In addition to covering that story for the Blue Army today (Friday, November 21), we have more to discuss.

The second matter on our minds is a King Power transfer rumour. Clearly City could do with a bit more firepower to help them over the Championship line. Though strikers don't seem linked often. Evidently, even the Playoffs appear to be a challenging prospect to realise at the moment.

Although, could adding what is said to be a £2.6 million signing aid the East Midlands team with the Foxes supposedly eyeing a midfielder? I'm unconvinced that this particular addition should be a high priority on Filbert Way. What's the score?

Foxes eye £2.6 million Glen Kamara deal

As previously discussed, LCFC have much work to do before they are challenging or actually hovering around the top of the table. The complexion of manager Marti Cifuentes' starting lineup or substitutes bench could soon be altered as well.

The January transfer window provides all clubs the opportunity to make necessary changes to their playing stock. And it is no different in the East Midlands. Enter Kamara.

"Kamara is viewed as a financial burden to the French outfit and would only require as little as £2.6m for his signature — which is a lot less than what he was signed for."

Should City complete this acquisition, or loan the 30-year-old, they will have reportedly fended off rivals Ipswich Town and West Bromwich Albion for the signature. The former Leeds United and Rangers man is allegedly 'unwanted' at Rennes.

Leicester City blow as loan man sustains injury and returns home

Tom Wilson-Brown is on his way back to Seagrave training complex to be assessed as we speak, I'm sure. The defender was injured while playing for Swindon Town versus MK Dons. He may be out until February 2026.
