Leicester City Football Club's chairman, presumably with the input of director of football Jon Rudkin, has made a big decision. The supposed resolution of Aiyawatt 'Top' Srivaddhanaprabha concerns Foxes boss Steve Cooper. More specifically, it's the future of the Welshman and whether or not he's getting the sack at King Power Stadium. A major claim has been made, and it will certainly garner a significant reaction from the team's Blue Army fan base.

What has been said? Is the former Nottingham Forest manager going to be relieved of duty on Filbert Way? And what does the apparent conclusion mean for the LCFC side? Meanwhile, City have received some unfortunate news about one member of their squad. Which player has been sidelined? What happened to him? And what is the expected timeline for him to be available again? If one exists.

Leicester City injury

A LCFC defender currently gaining admirers on loan is now sadly injured. Leicester centre back Ben Nelson had to be withdrawn whilst playing for Championship outfit Oxford United. The 20-year-old limped off as he was substituted.

Nelson is highly regarded at City and elsewhere; he's begun eight consecutive matches for 'the Boys from Up the Hill'. If you ask Foxes of Leicester, this is one loanee that the east Midlanders should probably hang on to.

From all accounts, the Northampton-born man is destined to he a Premier League starter one day. Although the issue's severity has not yet been revealed, Nelson is due for a scan. LCFC are reportedly 'keeping close tabs' on their temporarily unavailable asset.

Foxes hierarchy make Steve Cooper decision - some supporters won't be pleased if reports accurate

The amount of fans wishing for Cooper to be sacked has seemingly risen recently. There have been one or two positive and necessary results if not performances, of late. Yet it isn't good enough overall at Leicester under the 44-year-old.

However, it appears as though Cooper will remain in the City hot seat for a short while longer at least. That is if we can trust a claim from Football Insider. The outlet quote a line from Ex-Man United and Blackburn Rovers chief scout Mick Brown. Brown is purportedly still well connected within the football community.

Concerns are apparently growing at the King Power. But there is reportedly "recognition" that the current Premier League campaign would always be testing having emerged back from England's second tier:

"Leicester City’s hierarchy are set to grant Steve Cooper more time to turn results around amid growing concerns at the King Power."
