Join us today (Wednesday, November 12) as we take a standard, closer look at the Leicester City players. But this time the matters are slightly different to usual. We are not assessing the LCFC squad directly as such. No; we are examining those Foxes who are playing for other teams in general.
So this article will cover the loaned out young and senior Leicester footballers (when applicable). Not to mention the international City stars, especially the youth athletes on this occasion, as we enjoy a King Power round-up away from Filbert Way. Let's get going.
International Foxes round-up
First of all, let me just say as I always do, thanks for joining Foxes of Leicester this week (and next week in advance!). As you'll probably know, breaks in domestic play are particularly difficult for those of us who strive to bring Leicester's Blue Army fan base constant and all-encompassing coverage of the East Midlands outfit.
That being said, there are always other areas to probe, as they say. Incidentally, now and again, we notice something important which has gone under the radar somehow and somewhat. So there are occasionally bright spots to the hiatus - like Foxes scoring on National Team duty.
Anyway, who's doing what? Starting with England Under-17s, Louis Page started versus Egypt. Meanwhile Jake Evans was an unused substitute. Though the latter featured in the 8-1 Haiti win; Page sat on the bench there.
Currently loaned Leicester City players
Sammy Braybrooke, Jayden Joseph,
Henry Carwright, Kian Pennant and Bilal El Khannouss have all been in action for their respective adopted homes. Firstly, Braybrooke and Newport County won in the FA Cup but not the league.
Carwright's Falkirk drew. Tranmere Rovers and Joseph lost. Bilal was victorious in the Europa League and Bundesliga. Gateshead’s Pennant wasn't a winner. Woyo Coulibaly has been winning and losing for Sassuolo.
