Predicting match outcomes, final tables and trophy triumphs is now the norm in this (or their) industry. I can see massive and wide-reaching benefits for computer science, undoubtedly. Yet a football analyst such as myself will not have to warn the readership of potential and very real problems concerning AI in the wider world.
