In his first few games, Manchester City loanee Divine Mukasa was exceptional for Leicester City. Dancing through midfields with a precocity that suggested the King Power had a rare gem at their disposal.
Admittedly the (top) prospect endured a difficult and uneventful, even defensively dangerous, performance against Norwich City. Where the youthful spark seemed smothered by the heavy lifting of tracking back.
Yet one must argue Mukasa shouldn't have been given many, if any, defensive responsibilities to begin with in such a cagey affair. There are, after all, plenty of older, uglier Foxes in the squad to handle the grit and dirty work of a EFL Championship scrap.
City require the Citizen's attacking guile, quality, and vision to unpick a disciplined Ipswich Town side. Nevertheless, his name is conspicuously absent from the starting sheet.
It appears the occasionally dour pragmatism of Gary Rowett has won the day, opting for steel over soul. The Blue Army can only hope this conservative selection isn't masking a fundamental lack of ambition or a deficiency in tactical and opposition awareness.
Surely a delicate balance is preferable to deploying a phalanx of mercenaries, or an overly compact unit that hopefully staves off defeat at the expense of joy. On social media, certain LCFC supporters let Rowett have it. Their digital fury echoing a collective yearning for the artistry that Mukasa provides.
Underneath this paragraph are a few choice 'proposals for the Leicester gaffer; in a suggestion box he didn't wish to hand out!
Dropping Mukasa is just fucking stupid.

Please excuse the bad language, but I included it for the passionate sentiment.
I don’t think we can afford to be resting players like Mukasa, not when we’re fighting a relegation fight and he’s only here till the end of the season anyways. Rowett has a lot of red flags so far

Bang-on, Foxes Scoop!
A line up that suggests we can’t win so we’ll focus on Tuesday 🤷♂️

Rich J has an interesting theory here. The East Midlanders play Bristol City on Tuesday.
Personally can’t understand Mukasa being dropped but whatever

Ollie's "whatever" is a totally justifiable indictment of the apathy King Power and managers can cause.
NOT STARTING MUKASA?????!!!???? ARE YOU MADDD
