Leicester City fans won't have liked these comments from this Foxes flop whatsoever, as the Midlands giants prepare for life in League One.

It's not even been a week since the regular Championship seaon has ended, and Leicester City fans have been put through the wringer with non-stop news.

Indeed, rumours have already come to the surface regarding summer transfer targets, alongside other murmurs that Darren Ferguson is keen on taking the Foxes job, with Gary Rowett set to depart.

Moreover, players have also come out on social media to give their customary end-of-season messages, with Jordan James' heartfelt message reminding everyone why he was a firm fan favourite, despite only being on loan.

James' heartfelt message at the end of the season

In an ideal reality, Leicester would be keeping a firm grip on the ex-Birmingham City midfielder heading into next season.

But, with a standout 11 goals and four assist next to his name in league action, even as the Foxes succumbed to the drop, he will be sticking it out in the second tier, as the Rennes ace continues to be linked a wide array of clubs.

He hasn't just swatted his ex-loan employers to one side, though, with arrogance. Instead, he has shown a humility that Harry Winks could benefit from picking up on, with the 21-year-old signing off on Instagram by stating Leicester is an "amazing club and fanbase and I wish you nothing but the best for the future."

James and Leicester's paths might cross further down the line, if the Midlands giants are capable of lifting themselves out of this horrible relegation pit.

On the contrary, it would appear that all bridges have been burnt between Leicester and this flop, who has come out with his own more provocative comments, which won't go down well whatsoever with the disgruntled King Power masses.

This other message isn't so heartfelt

Over the coming weeks, the mass exodus at the King Power will begin taking shape.

Victor Kristansen looks as if he'll be fleeing the sinking ship before League One action gets underway in August, as the £17m flop doesn't sound as if he wants to call the third tier home, despite contributing to this mess happening.

Indeed, across 52 appearances for the Foxes to date, the 23-year-old Dane has never looked anywhere near his lofty valuation, with the number 16 certainly not a figure you'd want in the trenches alongside you.

He deserted Leicester during the 2023/24 season, when relegation occurred down to the Championship, to move to Bologna on loan, and he will be looking for another speedy exit route now that the disastrous 2025/26 campaign is over, based on his outspoken comments to journalist Oscar Valdorff Kjeldsen.

When summing up Leicester's demise down to League One, the injury-prone defender arrogantly stated: "I didn't sign with Leicester to be a League One player."

That is his grim reality right now, however, with Kristansen holding no divine right to play in other more cushty environments, off the back of an injury-plagued season just gone.

Whoever does take on the reins next season will surely want to get rid of such a wantaway character, with the Foxes camp needing to be filled with more James-like spirits, than presences not ready to fight and scrap for the sleeping giants.
