Many of the Leicester City players who were responsible for relegation last season deserted the ship in the summer, as the Championship entered the horizon.
No hard feelings could be had on the end of Jamie Vardy, as the 200-goal Foxes hero embarked on a fresh challenge with Cremonese, after relegation was confirmed.
But, with the likes of Conor Coady, Kasey McAteer and Wilfried N'didi, the same sentiments were not present, as Leicester went about a refresh in the summer - partly due to financial issues - before second-tier action kicked into gear.
James Justin was another in a long list of casualties that departed the King Power Stadium during that fire-sale, although Leicester would have been over the moon that they managed to sell on the disappointing defender for £10m to Leeds United.
After all, he had endured an extremely difficult patch of his career with the Foxes during that relegation campaign, as the 28-year-old could only amass a weak two clean sheets from 36 Premier League appearances last season.
He was further statistically the worst crosser of the ball in the entire division, as Leicester sank to the Championship.
Therefore, the relegated side probably couldn't believe their luck that they managed to sell him on to Daniel Farke's Whites for that bumper amount, considering he was purchased in 2019 - from Luton Town - for £8m.
Making back most of their money, Justin has long been forgotten about at the King Power.
However, he has instantly endeared himself to his new contingent of supporters in West Yorkshire, as he has rolled back the years to become a versatile figure Farke loves to depend on at Elland Road.
Justin is now excelling in the Premier League
Of course, this isn't to say that Leicester should have tried to hold onto the 28-year-old in the summer, as opposed to letting him go.
£10m is phenomenal money for a player who was on the slide, who would have likely been unhappy sticking out at Leicester.
It's just to acknowledge that Justin - for all his shortcomings last season at the King Power - is still a competent performer at the very top, when he is launched into a far more stable group.
Ultimately, the Luton-born defender didn't just fluke 169 Leicester appearances by being bang-average.
At Leeds, he has already filled in across six different positions - whether that be in the midfield ranks or in defence - with two goals and an assist also falling into his lap.
Against the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City in February, too, he managed to win a mightily impressive 15 duels and tackles, leading to Farke stating that he "always delivers."
💬 𝗗𝗙 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻: "What he’s delivering in terms of quality and consistency is outstanding. He brings his skills on the ball and he makes us less predictable. He’s delivering on the highest level and it’s a joy to work with him." pic.twitter.com/hNI40UnicK

Leicester fans might well have different thoughts as he regularly downed his tools as relegation was bleakly served up.
But, while the Foxes struggle to stay afloat in the Championship, Justin has managed to revitalise his Premier League career, which looked unlikely to happen when he first put pen to paper on a switch to Elland Road.
