Today (Friday, October 17) we are taking a look at supercomputers, how they work and what predictions they have made for our division. Indeed, Leicester City Football Club have been predicted to secure automatic promotion back to the Premier League via the Championship this season. Hooray! But, in addition to covering hypothetically promoted sides, which English Football League clubs are expected to be relegated after this campaign? Let's see.

Domestic league should heat up as weather cools

Summer is well and truly over. While the temperature becomes increasingly cold in our country, the league should be heating up. Now that internationals are done with this month (until November's breaks it up again), the C'ship is ready to begin aligning correctly.

Teams such as LCFC can, in theory, solidify their place towards the table's summit. The Foxes could also conceivably go on a bit of a winning run. Meanwhile, if what we have seen is any indication, a few clubs will rise and some will confirm their worse fears ahead of a busy festive schedule.

Leicester City predicted to attain automatic Premier League promotion - but which clubs may get relegated from the Championship this season?

Opta, the famous statistics institute which publishes and uses data to make predictions, have a supercomputer. The Artificial Intelligence expects Coventry City to triumph in this season's division.

Now, that is a particularly bold prophecy considering the King Power outfit lifted the C'ship trophy on both occasions when previously competing in the competition. Nevertheless, Leicester's Blue Army fan base would take second place and auto ascension to the EPL.

Middlesborough are anticipated to come third this year. That placing would only guarantee Boro a seeded Playoff spot. They will apparently be alongside West Bromwich Albion, Ipswich Town and Preston North End.

Sheffield Wednesday, Derby County and Oxford United are the unlucky trio. They are respectively forecasted to drop a division.
