Leicester have been informed that one of their centre forwards is not good enough. In my opinion this predicament could definitely be part of a quiz. I mean, how are you going to guess which one of the senior three goalscorers (an ironic term) this refers to?! A real conundrum. Nevertheless, this outlet has indirectly told the Foxes that their striker is not good enough to cut the mustard in the Championship. He was originally bought to set the Premier League alight; our recruitment wasn't on top form that summer. There's a good clue for anyone guessing who I'm talking of.

In the meantime, one La Liga club has possibly devised a rather cheeky and particularly unlikely plan to steal away a King Power asset. A particularly unwise and potentially time-wasting notion if you ask me. With a player's contract said to be expiring in the summer, could a team strike and seal his signing? Can they do it for free? I would hope and expect this to be a fanciful rumour, or even created hearsay by somebody who doesn't know the English Football League or Leicester too well. They may not have a clue about what they are commenting on in general!

Leicester City told striker not good enough - is it Patson Daka, Jordan Ayew or Julian Carranza?

Patson Daka. Or Big Pat, as I call him, hasn't made the grade on Filbert Way. Evidently the C'ship is his best opportunity to do so; the Zambia National Team Representative has failed to score all season so far.

"Daka, who earns £75,000 per week according to Capology, is one of many players out of contract over the summer and he remains one of their most saleable assets and so, for a variety of reasons, it is now surely time for Leicester to try and cash in."

Unfortunately this could be his last chance under any City boss. The suggestion here is that LCFC should cash in while some value remains.

La Liga club get cheeky

Sevilla FC are reportedly looking at signing Boubakary Soumare at "zero cost" in January. But why would Foxes bosses allow him to go for free whilst contracted.

"It wouldn’t make sense for Leicester to release Soumaré as he’s started in eight matches this season. There are other clubs [Roma] considering paying a fee in the next window."

The ex-Paris Saint Germain man will be permitted to speak to other clubs soon. But, I assure you, Leicester will attempt to generate a fee or re-sign.
