Leicester transfer labelled worst of summer - we did warn them

I love it when a plan comes together. In this instance, the pay-off was ridding Leicester City Football Club of a bad influence of a senior player. One who held unwarranted influence amongst the squad, if not the club in general. The defender in question was also on stupidly high wages; a mistake made by the Foxes recruitment department, which I will explain and shred to bits as usual. The other part of the scheme that City bosses must have been aware of, was to foist a rival club in true Larry David style! You see, LCFC were able to impose this undesirable professional onto a Championship upstart.

This annoyingly nouveau riche team seem to be on everyone's minds this season. Yep, the fellow tier two team are certainly on our consciousness (or lack of conscience) too: we want to use them as one of many stepping-stones back to the Premier League! But why was this particular transfer conducted by the King Power outfit designated one of the most disappointing of the summer? In fairness, we did warn Wrexham about Conor Coady. I'm not sure why everyone else involved in the division couldn't see what we could?

Leicester City transfer labelled most disappointing of summer - we did ironically warn Wrexham about Conor Coady

Coady lost faith on Filbert Way when he was embarrassingly involved in the 'we miss Enzo (Maresca)' incident in Copenhagen. The he reportedly angled for a transfer when City found trouble; purportedly telling anyone who'd listen that he wanted out of Leicestershire during pundit work.

The ex-Liverpool centre back always thrust himself into any Foxes proceedings which would get his face on television. Constantly giving Jeremy Monga unnecessary advice was one crowbar attempt; Monga's been more skilled than Coady since he was a child.

Although, the most upsetting thing for the Blue Army was the unsatisfactory, sluggish and antiquated defending exhibited. Making a sale to the Red Dragons ideal:

"Wrexham's acquisition of former Liverpool star Conor Coady has been criticized as one of the most disappointing deals of the summer... after a shaky performance in the club's 3-1 home loss to Queens Park Rangers in mid-September, he was benched and hasn't played since."
