If the current standing of Leicester City Football Club is anything to go by, signings are required in January. If the form of the Foxes is anything to go by, City must buy or loan fresh personnel in the New Year. If LCFC manager Marti Cifuentes' comments are anything to go by, the outfit would like to recruit but (predictably) may have to sell one or two unwanted or, indeed, wanted players in order to do so. Irrespective of all this, we would like to assess the latest, apparent transfer rumours attributed to the East Midlands team. Speculation includes reports on the following footballers: Bruno Fuchs, Louie Barry, Dennis Cirkin.
Latest Leicester City transfer rumours
Bruno Fuchs
Let's begin with the namesake of a Leicester champion first of all (I'm, of course, referring to Christian Fuchs). Incase you were wondering, there is no relationship between Bruno Fuchs and the former.
In fact, the younger Fuchs is actually Brazilian. You'll be aware that Christian Fuchs is Austrian, probably because he captained the Austria National Football side.
The man from Brazil is a center back by trade; he can also play at right back. He's now 26 but previously featured for the Nation's prestigious Under-23s outfit.
A City scout reportedly 'attended a Palmeiras match' to witness Fuchs in action. We have more below:
"According to Nicola, Leicester City want to wait and see what happens next. Palmeiras plan to trigger the £3m (€3.5m) purchase clause in the loan deal with Atlético Mineiro before deciding whether to keep or sell the defender."Sport Witness
Louie Barry
Barry, once of Barcelona's La Masia academy, is currently on loan at Sheffield United from Aston Villa. And he's one of those up-and-coming ballers who needs a home.
"Aston Villa must be considering Louie Barry decision - Leicester City, Norwich City and Bolton Wanderers should be on red alert"Football League World
The 22-year-old is generally expected to be recalled to Villa Park and then loaned again. At the moment, it appears Leicester are just tipped to make an approach, as opposed to concrete links.
Dennis Cirkin
Similarly, Cirkin is a man predicted to soon be on the move but not directly linked to King Power Stadium. He is presently out of favour at Sunderland:
"Leicester have plenty of issues, both on and off the field, but one glaring one, at left-back, could be solved by pursuing a move for Cirkin, and helping him relaunch his career once again."FLW
