Leicester City are going to be very light at the back if the media gets its way on transfer forecasts. The latest City rumours place two defensively-minded Foxes at the centre of speculation. One of them, the captain in the initial match of 2025/26 versus Sheffield Wednesday, is apparently in what is being described as 'advanced talks' with a Premier League club. The other, an LCFC Academy graduate, is perpetually not involved from the start or in the favour of past managers but always shows his worth eventually. What is being said about the pair? Is the hearsay likely to come to fruition? And do we advocate both or either sale for the good of the King Power team?
Leicester transfer rumours suggest James Justin set to switch to Leeds United - and that's not a problem
Justin was once a fairly vital and definitely extremely promising, young Leicester defender. Though the Luton Town man's decline began a few seasons ago.
I would argue that he's pretty much got worse every year since he played for the England National Side. Justin has all the attributes but confidence, concentration and concerns appear to affect his game dramatically.
"Sources have confirmed to Leeds Live that Leeds are in advanced talks to sign the defender [Justin]."Leeds Live
Consequently, you'll not be surprised to hear that I believe it may be time to cash in on Justin. He is certainly not 'too good for the Championship', as some assert. The actual worry for Leeds United fans should be whether or not he's of Premier League standard anymore.
Hamza Choudhury chatter
If the 27-year-old does indeed depart, then it is quite important Choudhury stays due to Ricardo's injury record. I rated what little I saw from Woyo Coulibaly, though he could also be off, leaving City uncovered at right back.
"As Wrexham have already spent big money this summer transfer window – including £10m on new forward Broadhead – a loan move may appear more favourable"The 72
Wrexham, who you'll be hearing lots about this season, are said to be interested in Choudhury. A possible loan was mentioned.
