A big welcome to everyone who has joined us on the site for our latest match preview for Leicester City Football Club. Even Rams fans are allowed here at our safe place as we look ahead to the upcoming Midlands derby. The Foxes entertain Derby County on the evening of Monday, December 29. The match will be played at City's King Power Stadium; the final LCFC contest before the New Year.

Just incase you are wondering, Leicester's fixture on January 1, 2026 is against Sheffield United. The first game of the year will be contested at Bramall Lane in South Yorkshire. However, if the Leicestershire outfit fail to beat Derby on Mon', people will probably contend that the English Football League Championship promotion run is over on Filbert Way.

That's if our own fans, along with neutrals, haven't already written us off! Anyway, that is enough of LCFC's woes. This is what we expect to occur prior to the clash.
