The King Power side sit just above the relegation fight after a couple of wins helped them stay above their closest rivals in the Premier League survival fight. Strangely though, Manchester United sit only just above Leicester: a strong team, but not particularly cohesive or playing with a vision. They have since sacked Erik Ten Hag, so that could effect how Cooper views this important tie.
Ruud Van Nistelrooy will be in charge of the Red Devils for this fixture. A coach known for aggression and ball progression more than retention, we can expect Manchester United to play with a little more intensity. With that should hopefully come an amount of disorganisation for the Foxes to exploit. As such, a strong but rotated team will probably come out of the Old Trafford tunnel.
Leicester City Predicted XI
The Welsh head coach Cooper will still have to put out a strong XI. Firstly, Leicester will want to use their cup competitions and any breaks as times to build momentum and correct errors in the structure and system which could - if left unchecked - negatively impact our chances of PL survival. So, this match will be used to bring a little confidence back post-Nottingham Forest.
