Whatever happens at the close of this season, as Leicester City either miraculously secure survival, or fall to League One, it looks like a summer of much upheaval is ahead at the King Power.
The Foxes do need a vast summer clearout after all, with the likes of Patson Daka surely on their way out, as the Zambian attacker's contract is up at the end of the close of the season.
Alongside wanting to get rid of players who have continually put in off-displays as Leicester bleakly battle against the drop, the Midlands giants will also be aware that some of their top young talents could be poached, with Jeremy Monga subject to lots of frantic interest already ahead of the summer transfer window swinging back open.
Monga is a hot summer commodity
It's incredible to think that Monga is still only 16 years of age, with the number 28 already notching up a sizeable 35 first team appearances for his boyhood club.
He hasn't completely looked out of his depth, either, this season, even as Leicester are in grave danger of drowning under the pressure of a relegation battle, with one goal and two assists heading his way from 25 appearances.
Realistically, the teenage winger isn't going to be a Leicester player for much longer, with the England U19 international on the shopping list of a boat load of clubs, heading into the transfer window.
Indeed, in the Premier League alone, it's being reported that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all keen on the hotly tipped youngster, while Borussia Dortmund will be aiming to replicate their Jude Bellingham magic on another English starlet, as the Bundesliga giants are also reportedly looking at Monga.
Hopefully, he goes on to be a success, if he does swap Leicester for one of these star-studded homes.
He might not be the only young asset Leicester will have to come to terms with about losing, as the Foxes have several impressive youth players behind the scenes, who could equally catch the eye of some higher up suitors.
The other Leicester youth players who could leave
Often, it can be a struggle for a team of Leicester's size to keep hold of their next generation of stars, when the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool come sniffing.
Lorenz Hutchinson hasn't quite been subject to the same frenzied interest as Monga just yet, but surely a team of the Merseyside giants' stature will come in for him soon, when you look at his staggering attacking numbers this season.
A blistering 20 goals have fallen into his lap from 32 appearances for both the U18s and U21s this season, with this clinical edge in front of goal at such an early age, standing him in good stead to have a career at the very top.
Moreover, there is attacking midfield prospect Logan Briggs, who has six goals and eight assists himself this campaign, while Amani Richards is rivalling the goalscoring prowess of Hutchinson with nine goal contributions tallied up.
There has been an explosion of top young talents in Leicestershire in recent times, with the Foxes no doubt wanting to keep a firm grip on these exciting prodigies, as they could build the spine of the first team down the line.
Yet, if Monga is about to hand Leicester some serious cash, ahead of a blockbuster summer switch, do not be surprised to see other major sides test the waters for the likes of Hutchinson.
With Leicester's financial situation set to be very precarious as well if relegation is served up, do not be further startled to see the Foxes cash in on more fledgling talents if the same interest arises.
