Leicester City Football Club are invariably known in the sporting world for obtaining some of the best bargains in modern history. So much so that incredibly inexpensive yet talented signings over the years actually massively contributed to the Foxes' Premier League success in 2015/16. Stars and legends such as Jamie Vardy, N'golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez were acquired for relative pittances.
Every single one of those ballers went on to do great things for multiple clubs, along with starring or triumphing with their countries. Although, there is another who can be placed into that iconic group of bygone LCFC players, though he is rarely or never mentioned in the same vein. This footballer did pretty much the same, and was an equally cheap purchase for the East Midlands outfit.
In the meantime, I have to talk to our readers about potential transfers to come as well. I'd be very surprised if City did little to no business in the New Year. I am not expecting many marquee additions, or any newcomers at all, to be honest. Though sales and loans are probable in an outgoing sense. Essentially, one full back is arguably not needed or could potentially become disenchanted with his current status.
Left back may leave Foxes when January market opens
Victor Kristiansen is less and less likely to stay on Filbert Way much longer, if you ask me. Luke Thomas has seemingly somewhat solidified himself as first-choice under Marti Cifuentes. Bade Aluko is arguably a preferable back-up.

One underrated Leicester City bargain signing
Did you know that Kasper Schmeichel cost LCFC a mere £1million years ago? He went on to lift the English top flight trophy, the FA Cup and the Community Shield with City.
Surely the Dane should be included with Mahrez (£400,000), Vardy (£1m) and Kante (£5.6m). He is currently with Celtic.
