An ex-Leicester City star, certain experts and Enzo Maresca have weighed in on the Foxes' Championship title hopes. Meanwhile, the final table for England's second tier has been predicted. As always, Foxes of Leicester offer views on news.

Former Leicester attacker Matty Fryatt is being a realist when it comes to the Foxes' final matches of the 2023/24 campaign. Fryatt, who bagged 62 goals in 189 appearances for LCFC, suggested that the stalemate outcome versus Hull City was a fair reflection.

Yet the 38-year-old is rightly concerned about momentum. In addition to offering his thoughts on the east Midlands team's lack of consistency and a run of tough fixtures ahead, the retired Fox alluded to a drop in quality. Fryatt correctly described one or two of the upcoming outings as "ridiculously huge, massive, must-win games". He implores Maresca's men to get onto the pitch and do what they do best!

One-time top professional Don Goodman, however, seems to exhibit more confidence with regard to the King Power outfit. Goodman - formerly of Bradford City, Sunderland, Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Bromwich Albion and Doncaster Rovers, among more clubs - believes LCFC remain favourites. He does, although, propose that the Championship title is still "up for grabs". The pundit did admit that City have had a bit of bad luck of late.

The Blue Army will be pleased to hear the mastermind behind the overall impressive season, Leicester head coach Enzo Maresca, say that the table still looks "fantastic" for his side. The gaffer insists he and his squad are "happy" with their situation.

The completed Championship table is forecasted - are Leicester City the champions?

Yorkshire Evening Post have revealed the Bookmakers' expected eventual Championship standings. Happily, Leicester are first; Leeds United are second in the prophesy.
