Here we go for Cooper's first signing and Leicester aim to sign ex-NBA star son
If current reporting is accurate, Leicester City Football Club have now agreed transfer particulars for a defensive signing. In addition to that potential deal, the Foxes also apparently want to sign the son of an ex-NBA star, a predictably towering player. Meanwhile an explanation has arisen from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as to why the east Midlands side's former favourite left King Power Stadium after 17 years at the club.
Leicester City fans must face reality whilst enjoying good times
Leicester are once again the subject of a plethora of transfer rumours. We have chosen a couple of the latest to cover today, Thursday. First of all let's look at an exit, as we probably directly cover Dewsbury-Hall for the final time.
Although some Foxes fans were rightly annoyed, with some dismayed due to the sale of 'KDH', the loss was justifiable. At least it was from a financial point of view, mainly because of punishments hanging over teams such as LCFC should they step out of line spending-wise.
Losing one of, if not the best starters in a squad is never palatable. Even when the Leicestershire outfit managed to obtain an unbelievable approximate £80 million for now Manchester United centreback Harry Maguire, it felt a bit odd.
Certain sections of the fan base will have to come to terms with selling our prominent stars - it's been happening since the previous century. And, especially for a club Leicester's size, there's been an unreal amount of success for us all to enjoy.
So my advice is to forget Dewsbury-Hall, as good as he is. Look forward to the new season back in the Premier League, and watch out for the next outstanding Fox to come to prominence. But why did the 25-year-old choose Chelsea?
"Last season was a positive year for me and I’m coming into this season feeling like a new player, full of confidence, full of motivation to get going and I don’t see a better fit than coming to Chelsea and testing myself against some top players and playing with top players. I am in a great space and I am really looking forward to getting going"

Basketball player's son could be acquired by Foxes
City are supposedly after a French Ligue 1 footballer. Reims midfield man Amir Richardson is on the English top-flight club's radar, according to a claim. He is the son of Michael Ray Richardson, who played for NBA side the New York Knicks.
"Leicester City are keen on Moroccan international Amir Richardson, according to claims in France. City, Everton and Udinese are the three teams leading the chase for the 22-year-old Reims midfielder, L’Equipe report."
Leicester close in on defender
An agreement is said to have been reached for Atalanta's Caleb Okoli. Okoli is a 22 year old centrehalf. Thankfully, transfer oracle Fabrizio Romano was on hand to provide the Blue Army with verification as LCFC prepare to make an imminent addition. The Italian declared "Here we go" for Steve Cooper's first signing.
