Leicester have managed two consecutive victories since the slightly disappointing outcome at the end of the momentous Ipswich Town match. The east Midlands side drew 1-1 with the Tractor Boys at Portman Road Stadium. Subsequently they defeated Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town in even more convincing fashion. Enzo Maresca's men produced six goals in those two fixtures, conceding only one. Unfortunately, the Italian is now to lose several players to the Africa Cup of Nations and one to the AFC Asian Cup. But more on that matter later.

First of all, let's take a glance at Leicester's upcoming FA Cup game. An intimidating yet winnable away clash with Millwall stall be the Foxes' second match of 2024. Manager Gary Rowett's Lions lie dormant in 15th place in the English second division table at present. However, they can sometimes be angry and dangerous when awoken. Hopefully the occasionally magical cup competition won't stir the south London outfit and their fans to another roaring triumph against LCFC.

Leicester City squad status

Many fitness problems remain at Seagrave, as far a FoL can tell. In addition to that factor, a few important players will be unavailable to the Leicestershire side due to aforementioned international tournaments. Meanwhile, welcoming back Callum Doyle to the team has helped out the boss no end.

Nevertheless, Ndidi (currently injured), Iheanacho, Daka and Souttar have joined their nations. While Vardy, Praet and McAteer were confirmed to be sidelined at the moment. Veteran Marc Albrighton also returned to action recently.
