At the time of writing, Leicester are about to kick-off against Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship. As the Owls are at the foot of the English second tier, their currently first-place opponents are heavy favourites for the victory. In fact, Enzo Maresca's men are 60 percent favourites on the probability scale, in spite of the Italian rotating multiple stars in the starting lineup.

Wins are never guaranteed in any division. This season will be a long slog. But, thanks to Leicester's excellent showing overall this campaign, Opta's analytics predict a top finish in May.

Along with a possible signing or two, a couple of new Leicester City staff members are set to be appointed ahead of entering the January transfer window

Foxes of Leicester reported on the LCFC manager's thoughts ahead of the market opening in New Year 2024. That date will be here sooner than we are all expecting. A change in year may coincide with an altered Leicester squad. As well as indicating the requirement for another left-sided defender, Maresca strongly hinted at some player departures from Filbert Way. The media concerned seem to suggest that the east Midlanders will be active as December fades to Jan.

Before any of these speculated scenarios potentially transpire, the Foxes will apparently add some fresh faces to their back room. This report claims that LCFC are gearing up for some recruits behind the scenes by advertising for the scouting and recruitment departments. The article goes on to say that transfer plans have been discussed by the team manager and club hierarchy.
