If we take a report from Italy on face value, English Premier League side Leicester City are set to miss out on an important £25 million transfer target. Unfortunately for the Leicestershire outfit, there has been a twist in their chase. Will Argentine prospect Matias Soule continue in Serie A, or come to England with the Foxes?

And LCFC midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has explained why he stayed at King Power Stadium for 2024/25. The Nigeria international's contract had actually expired by the time he signed a new one on Filbert Way. Was he as close to leaving Leicester as some prominent journalists and notable outlets (along with lesser sources) claimed? Irrespective, he is likely to be a crucial part of the season if fit and in-form.

Three Lions on my chest

England anticipate victory while the nation await the Euro 2024 Final on this very Sunday. It shall be a major date of importance if the Three Lions bring football home at last. Although, June 14 won't be remembered fondly - similarly to June 11 2021 - if Gareth Southgate's men are not victorious.

Foxes of Leicester would like to just quickly send our best wishes and good luck to the Eng' squad. Let's do this! Now back to why you are here: Leicester City Football Club.

Wilfred Ndidi reveals reasons for remaining a Fox

I wasn't too fussed if Ndidi re-signed, to he perfectly honest. Yet that was probably just Leicester loyalty blinding my blue-tinted spectacles. Now that he has re-signed, it is easier to offer a fair verdict.

And my revised judgment is that he could be vital if playing well. His newer increasingly attacking role may not be appropriate for the upcoming campaign. Though it could be ideal to reinstall the No.6 destroyer the Blue Army know and love for a tough term.

But why did Ndidi stay considering there were reportedly so many decent offers for a fresh start?:

"I’ve had a chance to speak with [Steve] Cooper. I spoke to him during the holidays when he came in. He had some good ideas to share with me, so it was really, really, really amazing and I’m looking forward to working with him. He’s a great guy, he’s funny. I look forward to working with him, it’s very exciting."

Leicester City might perhaps lose out on surprise wanted man

City were apparently in the running to sign Juventus forward Matias Soule. The 21-year-old made his name on loan at Frosinone. Some thought Juve would continue monitoring and possible developing their young asset for the future.

However, after links with the EPL, the man from Argentina is expected to extend his stay in Italy. But he will probably leave la Vecchia Signora (the Old Lady) for Roma. Another one bites the dust, eh Foxes!?
