Leicester City are reportedly targeting a Premier League midfielder to sign this summer. Meanwhile a transfer report has emerged concerning a trio of LCFC players. Foxes of Leicester ponder whether Abdul Fatawu will join the King Power outfit permanently. Not to mention assessing the respective futures of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Kelechi Iheanacho on Filbert Way.

First of all, and most importantly in this writers mind: Dewsbury-Hall. The Leicester City Academy product is an exceptional player, seemingly on and off the pitch. Not that it matters in this instance particularly, but the 25-year-old is one of the more likeable footballers about these days. He feels down-to-earth, approachable to fans and a committed professional, from all accounts.

Anyway, back to what matters: the on-field quality and what is next for the Englishman. Will Dewsbury-Hall stay at Leicester? There's just so much speculation; talk which seems to have chiefly arisen due to LCFC's financial troubles. Apparently, if the Foxes ownership decide to cash-in on Dewsbury-Hall, as a homegrown player it would help with Profit and Sustainability issues. It is claimed in the media that other Foxes - stars and otherwise - must too be sold over the course of the offseason. But we will get into more of that later in the article.

Back to 'KDH', there have been several English top-flight clubs supposedly interested in the technician. Tottenham Hotspur are one big team that has been connected; Brighton & Hove Albion are the latest side to be linked with Dewsbury-Hall once again. Unfortunately, the Nottingham-born man might perhaps be available for as little as £30 million. Considering his calibre and the three years said to be remaining on his City contract - that fee appears relatively low.

Another name who could be leaving the King Power at the end of the current campaign is Kelechi Iheanacho. A favourite with fans, although not particularly with Leicester manager Enzo Maresca, maybe a move is best for the Nigeria international. EPL club Crystal Palace are monitoring the striker, along with interested parties in Turkey, as per this report.

The future of Iheanacho's international teammate Wilfred Ndidi is also speculated at present. Yet there could be some permanent Foxes added as well. You'll know one candidate well: Abdul Fatawu. Reporter Ben Jacobs declared that there is a £14.6m option to buy included in the winger's loan agreement. Get him signed!

And, finally, Leicester and Championship rivals Leeds United want Newcastle United's Sean Longstaff. Longstaff is another solid Fox contender, as I see it. Let's hear what Caught Offside wrote about the matter:

"The Sunday People reports that Leeds United and Leicester City are interested in Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff.

According to the outlet’s Sunday report, should the Whites be promoted, they will face off against their Championship opponents for Longstaff services.

Farke has inquired about Longstaff as his St. James’ Park contract is coming to an end.

Journalist Clive Herrington has reported that the interested parties would have to be promoted in order to sign him.

He said: 'Leicester have emerged as potential rivals to Leeds for Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff. Longstaff only has a year left on his contract and while Eddie Howe rates the Tynesider highly. Newcastle may be tempted by an offer of £15-20 million. The chances of Leicester or Leeds landing the 26-year-old hinge on them going up.'"
