Leicester want Salah as 3 Foxes near exits with one maybe rejoining EPL

Foxes of Leicester detail reports of Leicester City apparently wanting to sign Ibrahim Salah. Meanwhile three Foxes are supposedly nearing exits from King Power Stadium, with one player possibly rejoining the English Premier League. Elsewhere in the news, the east Midlands team may face stiff EPL competition if they wish to capture Wolfsburg's David Odogu.

Young centreback Odogu could be winging his way to Filbert Way, if speculation is accurate. Although, giant English top-flight teams such as Chelsea and Arsenal are in the queue for the 17-year-old as well. He is said to want to leave Wolfsburg; the German's are keen to retain their teenage asset. Incidentally, Leicester might miss out on loan target Fabio Carvalho, with Hull City winning that chase.

And no, it's not liverpool's Mo Salah whom Leicester City are monitoring, but Ibrahim Salah of Stade Rennais. The Ligue 1 winger is potentially available for a temporary move whilst the transfer market is active. The 22-year-old is a Morocco Under-23 international. Leicester are not alone in their pursuit, five other clubs in Europe's top five leagues are also tracking the up-and-coming professional.

Possible Leicester City leavers in January 2024

Why on earth Danny Ward, and even Daniel Iversen, were not sold or touted for sale with low prices in the summer when they were deemed unwanted by Enzo Maresca is beside me. Nevertheless, it appears Ward's time at KPS might be coming to an end at last. Sheffield United are lurking for the Welshman.

The Athletic has reported that Australian defender Harry Souttar could depart the Foxes, too. That is a shame, but he is well down the pecking order. Lastly, Boubakary Soumare - remember him? Well, he has agreed to join Napoli, says media chatter.
