The Welshman has overseen two Premier League ties thus far. A well-fought draw with Tottenham Hotspur and a disappointing loss against Fulham. Leicester’s next league opponents are arguably stronger than both of them. Therefore, Cooper has to make some number of changes if the Foxes are to have a chance of getting points.

Leicester City’s weaknesses

The King Power club have suffered from inadequacies in both team selection and the system which have led to three goals being conceded across those two matches. Luckily, this did not see us lose two fixtures. However, to have a go at Aston Villa, the Foxes could do with remedying these in the first half of the Villa tie.

For example, Stephy Mavididi and Ricardo Pereira. The pair are widely considered some of our best players from the EFL Championship winning season. So, it is really strange to see the pair not featuring as starters. After all, what Cooper wants the team to perform tactically would benefit from the pair being in it.
