Will Enzo Maresca be at Leicester City next year with big clubs watching closely?

Enzo Maresca has been a revolution at Leicester City. With that, significant interest has been seen from big clubs looking for their own revolutions. However, will the Italian be at the King Power next year should a club move for him?

1. Mentality Monster

Note Leicester City are not the mentality monsters. Our monster is hiding under the bottle Maresca shoved in a closet early season yet brought out of hiding the moment the King Power club were over 12 points clear at the top. When the going gets too easy, complacency and sloppiness infect the team. Our head coach should have done more to prevent that.

2. Game Management

To lost by single goal margins consistently shows a lack of in-game management: we stay the same, play the same, and consist of mostly the same players, persistently. When a team in a promotion/title battle is losing, you ought to make changes, that is something Maresca has not done.

So, despite a rocky third of the season, Leicester still remain a title and promotion contender with everything on the line over their last few matches. Therefore, it is fair that with a style of football developed alongside successful head coaches Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta, the Italian manager offers a comprehensive system which focuses on possession and progression: hallmarks of the modern game.
