Rumours concerning the less committed Foxes among the Leicester City squad have been abound for a while. As a matter of fact, all tiers of football journalist (one to five, with zero being club confirmations) have commented on supposedly wantaway City stars and back-up players. One of those, Belgian footballer Wout Faes, did admit that he actively looked for an exit prior to his loan to AS Monaco. Luckily for the cash-strapped East Midlands outfit, that deal contains what is said to be a £4.3m–£8.7m buy option as well.

Moving on from the centre back who is still technically a Fox, another baller who was rumoured to be on the chopping block was confirmed to be as such. During his Friday pre-match press conference ahead of what is sure to be a batte versus Oxford United at King Power Stadium this coming weekend, Cifuentes made revelations. First of all, he revealed that the well-paid yet out of favour Harry Winks seeks a new team. A separate but equally anticipated update to the Faes report.

The former Tottenham Hotspur man is almost disgracing himself at LCFC for not committing to match preparations. In addition to that undesirable element, Winks reportedly chooses to live near London, around 100 miles away from Leicester's Sileby Seagrave Training complex. Furthermore, problems have apparently occurred at that ground when he is practicing. Winks seemingly incurred the same wrath under ex-boss Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Amidst those disclosures, the 43-year-old went further in his demands and expectations for the King Power roster. Cifuentes stated that only 'professional' operators are required. The situation will now be 'much easier', he continued.

"When there are certain people that don’t want to be in a place, and that happens everywhere in every job, then it’s more difficult to commit to the level that this kind of challenge requires."

The ex-Queens Park Rangers man wants unity on Filbert Way. He admits people wanted out; it's easy to reach a target when pulling in the same direction, according to Cifuentes.
