After an intense and fairly successful Leicester City transfer window, including a frenzied deadline day, there are plenty of aspects to discuss. This piece relates to temporarily departed Foxes, as well as permanently exited LCFC players. Not to mention the loaned and signed personnel arriving at King Power Stadium. We will quickly detail which footballers have left and who exactly has joined, for how much and how long.
In addition to that, we will pass verdict on how City conducted their business. Though the main objective of this very article is to examine how the East Midlanders may line up going forward. We run through possible starters along with explaining how the new signings alter an ideal looking Leicester XI for the pursuit of a Championship promotion. But first of all, a bit of a rant.
The dreaded international break
I am not a fan of international breaks at all. Though I can stomach friendlies; World Cup and Euros qualifiers are naturally necessary. But the Nations League is totally unwelcome from my point of view.
Why do I say this, well, it is refreshing to enter the international break with something of substance to talk about. I wouldn't say that City set the world alight on September 1.
Although the Foxes recruitment department made a more than satisfactory, even surprising, last ditch attempt at recruiting in Foxes of Leicester's opinion. It is between a 7-8 out of 10 score, if you ask me.
The new Leicester City XI looks perfect for Championship push with signings
I won't waffle on too much more, mainly because I know you want to see how FoL's fresh LCFC line-up looks. So here goes:
Stolarczyk; Thomas, Nelson, Okoli, Ricardo; Winks, James; Monga, Ramsey, Fatawu; Carranza.
Jannik Vestergaard may keep his place. Yet we see a prospect in Ben Nelson. Stephy Mavididi could well continue in his role. Though I'd begin starting Jeremy Monga.
