Can we expect Leicester City to make any signings at all this summer? For once I am kind of speechless, or opinion-less at least. The latest revelations detailing how The King Power International Group is struggling and maybe facing financial collapse have thrown the biggest spanner into the LCFC works, which was already inundated with wrenches.

Profit and Sustainability issues would have more than likely limited acquisitions or even loans at King Power Stadium this summer, unfortunately. However, now that we add the fact that the ownership reportedly (reports which includes and exposé interview from their own CEO) have no money - things look rather bleak on Filbert Way again.

I imagine that a few new additions will materialise at some point, in some unknown capacity. As I say, the East Midlands club must recruit somehow. Therefore loaning, free transfers and inexpensive gems are the feasible ports of call. Although we can probably rule out any so-called marquee arrivals in Leicestershire over the offseason. And I'm being polite there!

So who and what type of footballer will possibly join Leicester for preseason, if any? And have any new targets been added to the wishlist of late? Let's see.

Former Leicester City goalkeeper Brad Young signs for Bristol Rovers

First of all, transfer news. Young was part of the LCFC academy for around four years. The 23-year-old has now penned a two-year contract with Rovers after being release by the Foxes.

Things to know about Leicester City transfer target Millenic Alli of Luton Town

Leicester are supposedly vying with two other clubs for one of Luton's stars. Middlesbrough and Sheffield United are the other parties reportedly interested in Alli.

"Now Sheffield United, Leicester and Middlesbrough are weighing up moves for the powerful forward as they look to add to their attacking options ahead of the new season."

The 25-year-old caught the eye with the Hatters as the 2024/25 was ending. Netting four goals in six outings will grab attention.

The versatile forward was previously prolific for Exeter City. Leicester apparently wish to strengthen up front due to Jamie Vardy's exit and a misfiring backup cast. Alli's previous £1.5million valuation has surely now increased.
