A gruelling season for Leicester City has (happily for us) entered its final quarter. The culmination of this campaign will ultimately put the Foxes out of their misery. And trust me, this has been a pretty miserable year throughout for the Blue Army fan base. I would usually mention that the team and LCFC's hierarchy, staff and players have also suffered through.

But it can be reasonably argued major incompetence from many people in those three areas have let us supporters down. So that's every element which comprise a club. Bad times! I can also assure our readership that it gives this writer no pleasure to appraise the King Power outfit in this way. Let's hope the side don't deteriorate and decline further next term. Reset is the word of the summer in Leicestershire!

So when will the Foxes be relegated mathematically? Is that inevitable eventuality a long way in the future, or is judgement day close after Wolverhampton Wanderers defeated relegated rivals Ipswich Town? I will now explain the potential time at which City will most likely be demoted back to the Championship. Let's discover our fate!

This is the exact match where Leicester City will probably become mathematically relegated from the Premier League

As I say, I consider Wolves' victory away at Ipswich the final nail in Leicester's coffin. Let's be honest - this isn't 2014/15. The belief from the Foxes Never Quit slogan has evaporated.

However, hope remains in the form of unlikely scenarios forming a notion of survival in a mathematical sense. Basically we ain't down yet!

Yet Wolves really only require nine points due to a goal difference gap. Though 10 absolutely seals WWFC's safety. If they continue on the run they've been, three or four results is enough.

This means Wolverhampton could technically guarantee EPL football next season by actually beating Leicester! The west Midlands club play the east Midlands club at Molineux Stadium on April 26. If City don't subsequently defeat Southampton on May 3 - they're definitely down!
