The summer transfer window always throws up a crazy transfer story or two.
Anthony Gordon joining Barcelona certainly falls into this category of absurd transfer tale, with the ex-Everton winger swapping St James' Park for the Camp Nou, after only scoring six Premier League goals last season.
Gordon has never actually scored against Leicester City, funnily enough, despite playing against the Foxes eight times. Their paths are very unlikely to cross now that the 25-year-old is calling Catalonia home.
In more strange news, former Leicester loanee Jordan James could be facing off against Gordon next season in Spain, with the Welshman subject to transfer interest from La Liga.
James tipped for shock move to Villarreal
As per Sky Sports' constantly updating transfer rumours, James has already been subject to a bid from La Liga giants Villarreal, ahead of the summer transfer window kicking into gear.
With Premier League clubs also monitoring the 21-year-old's situation, according to the report, it will be intriguing to see if James fancies a move out to Spain to play for The Yellow Submarine.
Having just finished third in La Liga, behind the dominant forces of Barcelona and Real Madrid, this would be a terrific move for a young star who has just experienced Championship relegation with the Foxes.
He wouldn't be homesick, either, moving out to Spain, as he has played out in France with Rennes before. Although, he does only have one goal and one assist next to his name from 25 appearances at Roazhon Park.
It would be a major move for James, who is valued around the £12m mark, much like Gordon, who will have been taken aback by Barca's interest.
But, if his sparkling Leicester form is anything to go by from last season, he should be able to handle the pressures of playing for a higher-up suitor, despite his previous failures at Rennes.
Leicester fans will wish him well
Wherever he plies his trade next season, whether it be with Villarreal, or a Premier League club, Leicester fans will all wholeheartedly wish the playmaker well.
Scoring 11 times from 34 appearances last campaign, James was a clear standout performer, when others were regularly downing their tools, with the 21-year-old's daringness to always push forward and excite fans standing him in good stead to be a success in the relentless division that is La Liga.
Capable of playing all across the midfield ranks, too, whether that means he lines up as a defensive anchor, or as a number ten, James has it all in his locker, as he eyes up a big move to really test himself next season.

Fans packed into Estadio de la Cerámica, if James does make a move to Villarreal a reality, will also love the Welshman's fight and determination to always give 100%, with James exiting proceedings at Leicester - despite relegation occurring - with his head firmly held high.
In an alternate reality, Leicester would have loved to keep James around for longer.
But, while the Foxes slide down the English football pyramid, the 26-time Wales international is destined for a shot at glory in La Liga, or another big division, with Gordon and James possibly butting heads next season in Spain, in a wild turn of events.
