Ruud van nistelrooy is proving to have been a monumentally bad choice of manager at Leicester City Football Club. The Dutchman is a likeable enough chap, yet it must be acknowledged that he is seemingly well out of his depth. And that's not a dig at him - if anything it's a dig at the aloof and out of touch LCFC hierarchy and the dreadfully under qualified squad.
The 48-year-old is clearly not the right man for the job, and probably never was. So he's not particularly good enough, but he doesn't deserve to be abused. The point I'm trying to make is Alex Ferguson or Brian Clough would have definitely struggled to get a tune out of these unsatisfactory Foxes. Unfortunately a lack of funding due to how badly the King Power club, is and has been, conducting business for years is the route of our downfall.
Nevertheless, the more intense, unforgiving and, let's face it, uninformed 'fans' among us have decided to attack van Nistelrooy's character. And is just unacceptable. Following a seventh successive loss, this time to Fulham, some vocal, so-called supporters took to social media to let the former Manchester United man have it. And RvN won't want to read what certain people in Leicestershire and around the world are saying about him.
What some of the Leicester City faithful have said about Ruud van nistelrooy
Of course, some of the support basically just consider RvN inadequate. Or, to put it mildly, not up to footballing standards. Other spectators at the King Power believe the one-time PSV Eindhoven boss 'hasn't got a clue'!
Slightly humorously, one Fox suggested that van Nistelrooy should 'sack himself'. I can't see him literally quitting; apparently he won't be sacked this season either. One astute writer noticed even the win against West Ham United was questionable:
