Even though domestic football in England (and Scotland) has ended for the summer, a lot of Leicester City news and speculation exists for us to analyse. Today (Monday, June 2), we have already discussed the possible successors to Leicester legend Jamie Vardy once. Although that piece related to when the former Fleetwood Town man joined the East Midlanders and his teammates' first unconvinced impressions.

We've also covered the clubs that we believe City supporters would least like to see the ex-England international sign for. This was an interesting piece to be fair. Wes Morgan's surprising role with a King Power rival was another story assessed by Foxes of Leicester. Many other articles will follow in the weeks and months to come as FoL massively increases output.

So stick with us for this is truly a pivotal and vital offseason for the Foxes. They must sack Ruud van Nistelrooy due to his inexperience especially in England's lower leagues, in my opinion. The LCFC hierarchy then have to appoint the right man to lead the team going forward. An awkward task which is more difficult than it appears.

Following this, or in the meantime to be exact, the Leicester squad requires major surgery. 10 unwanted players were released alongside Vardy, for instance. And they need replacing along with adding to with quality. But putting Foxes business aside for a moment, much of the fan base is keen to know where the iconised Fox will end up? Could that destination be, in fact, the Scottish Premiership? What's being said right now?

Ranger and Celtic transfer updates for ex-Leicester City man Jamie Vardy

"But it appears Rangers could be most serious about trying to lure the frontman north of the border."
Leicestershire Live

Both Glasgow sides are supposedly interested in signing Vardy on a free. However Rangers seem to be ahead of their long-time foe Celtic in that regard.

"Jamie Vardy is weighing up a Rangers move which could offer him a Champions League return. It would represent a first chance of playing in European football's top club competition since 2016-17, when he took part for Leicester City. It wouldn't be the first time Rangers have explored a move for Vardy. Their former manager Ally McCoist claimed in 2022 that they pushed for the striker when he was still at Fleetwood Town, only to be priced out of a move."

Champions League football is on offer north of the border. And, Due to that fact, Vards is reportedly mulling a move to Ibrox. I see him thriving in such a passionate environment.
