Vital Leicester star may miss these 3 crucial fixtures
A definitely vital Leicester City star player will be absent on Saturday as the Foxes travel to Newcastle United's St. James' Park. City need this man, but he isn't available. And the rather untimely absence gives an opportunity to more than one possible replacement Fox. Suspensions and injuries can derail any club's season, especially a Premier League side such as the struggling east Midlanders.
Do City have adequate depth to call upon as their wealthier and currently more successful top flight rivals? Possibly not. If you didn't think that the forecast couldn't get any worse - it can. Although the prognosis for the missing midfielder is only 'a couple of weeks', important matches are scheduled within that period. Not to mention the vague statement from King Power manager Ruud van Nistelrooy being ambiguous.
Basically, all this means that the Fox in question might perhaps miss up to three crucial fixtures. And he could plausibly be out for longer. So who is this mystery midfield protagonist? Can Leicester survive without him? And which LCFC games could he potentially be unavailable for? Let's see.
Newcastle United vs Leicester City spells trouble as Foxes of Leicester see it
The Magpies have their own seemingly huge problems at the moment. Even when considering that factor, I just simply cannot envision Leicester leaving the north East with any points whatsoever.
A draw, or especially a win, feel out of the question for van Nistelrooy and his LCFC men. I know I am being pessimistic for once - yet gut feelings are often proven correct in sport, for some reason. We shall see.
Wilfred Ndidi won't be playing
Unluckily, and inescapably, Ndidi won't feature for the relegation-threatened outfit. The Nigeria international now has a great fledgling partnership with Boubakary Soumare. Another who is not selectable for Saturday.
Ndidi could well miss the Wolverhampton Wanderers clash, as well as the Liverpool game. And Manchester City on December 29 could also come too early when you consider match fitness etcetera:
"Correct, he [Ndidi] has a hamstring injury so he’s not available for the game. We’re looking at the progress and will see how he reacts to the injury, but it looks like it will at least be a couple of weeks."
