That's right, Leicester City hadn't won a Premier League match in eight attempts. In fact, they lost them all. And that was truly shocking and insufferable for the Blue Army fan base. During that period, the Foxes failed to score in seven matches in all competitions. The previous goal materialising against Manchester United in the FA Cup via Bobby De Cordova-Reid. That was at the beginning of February, which feels like a lifetime ago.
City hadn't netted in eight EPL fixtures until they journeyed to Brighton & Hove Albion's American Express Stadium on Saturday afternoon. For the Seagulls support, this was expected to be easy. A walkover. A forgone conclusion. But the encounter with LCFC was far from that; BHAFC fans were booing there own men by the final whistle. The clash between Brighton and City ended 2-2. Yet it was the visitors who really pushed for victory. In all fairness, Leicester probably could and should have won in the end. If it wasn't for soft decisions on penalties (albeit avoidable defensive mistakes) conceded by Conor Coady and Luke Thomas - City may well have been victorious.
Nonetheless, we are here to talk about and view LCFC's long-awaited goals. Thanks to some necessary and obvious starting lineup tweaks as well as increased energy and belief, the Foxes were improved vs the Seagulls. Stephy Mavididi and Caleb Okoli were on the scoresheet at last. So join us to watch back both of the King Power club's goals vs the south coast side as the east Midlanders break an eight-game losing and scoring streak.
Stephy Mavididi nets for the Foxes
Mavididi should have been in the team all season. There you go, I said it! The winger's determination to score was testament to my sentiment.

Caleb Okoli's first Leicester City goal
Another player who was preferable to teammates such as Wout Faes or Coady. Congratulations on your maiden English top flight finish, Okoli!
