The bulk of the greatest football team to ever grace Leicestershire have long since left LCFC. A lot of players have retired, and some now play far and wide away. Kasper Schmeichel, Marc Albrighton and, most recently, Jamie Vardy were the last bastions of the legendary Leicester City XI at the King Power.

We are keen to know what happened to each and every one of that fabled Foxes 2015/16 Premier League title-winning group. So where are they now? And what are they all up to? Let's see.

Who were the iconic and insurmountable Foxes 'Unbelievables'?

The 2016 English top flight champions were naturally labelled 'Unbelievables' due to writing an unbelievable footballing story. One for the ages. The squad at large is remembered ever so fondly by the Blue Army, but today we are examining the main starting lineup.

And that XI was generally as follows: Schmeichel; Christian Fuchs, Wes Morgan, Robert Huth, Danny Simpson; Danny Drinkwater, N'golo Kante; Albrighton, Riyad Mahrez; Shinji Okazaki and Vardy. What a team!

What happened to Leicester City's 2015/16 Premier League title-winners - where are they now?

First of all, Schmeichel is still playing with Celtic. Fuchs owns and runs FSA Pro (Fox Soccer Academy). Morgan is a National Scout at Nottingham Forest. Huth returned to King Power Stadium as a loans manager in late 2022. Simpson has entered the boxing world.

Drinkwater is said to be working hands on in the property profession and doing pundit work. Kante is with Al-Ittihad. Albrighton recently served Aston Villa as a youth academy coach. Al-Ahli is Mahrez's new home.

Okazaki is reportedly involved with Basara Mainz in Germany. The former Japan international only retired in 2024. Vardy has obviously only recently left Filbert Way. Much speculation exists over his next move; he may choose the MLS, the EPL, Serie A, LaLiga or even Scotland's Premiership.
