Today (Sunday, October 19) I'd like to take a look at the Leicester City squad and how it performed against Portsmouth at the weekend. Unfortunately, Pompey were able to leave King Power Stadium with a point. However, I believe that Marti Cifuentes' Foxes team should have stopped that eventuality from occurring. The Leicestershire side enjoyed enough positive moves on the day, and have a better roster in general. Therefore the three points should have stayed on Filbert Way.

Alas, that wasn't the case; a 1-1 draw was a bit of a let down in actuality. As our writer Professor Robert Garner pointed out, five Championship draws from six fixtures is a worrying pattern for the Catalan in charge. You can read the former's match review (talking points) by clicking here. In addition to that excellent piece, another Foxes of Leicester journalist, Elliot Mackness, wrote a separate article on the standout LCFC players from the visit of John Mousinho's men.

Although, I'd like (well, I'd rather there be no poor performers as a Leicester fan, in truth) to report on the underperformers from the anticlimactic Portsmouth visit. Quite a few Foxes could have done better, by all accounts. We'll be consulting Leicester Mercury to discover which of City's stars in particular let side down in the clash with the seasiders; three ratings of 4 actually transpired!

OK, let's waste no time and discuss the so-called let downs. For a start, Leicester's starboy, Jeremy Monga, was more disappointing than usual. He only managed a score of 5.

"Jordan Ayew: There was a bad touch late on, where he let the ball roll under his foot, that summed up his evening. A shot just wide was his best moment. 4"

As a matter of fact, Monga was given the worst appraisal of all starters. Julian Carranza got a 6. Meanwhile, substitute's Patson Daka, Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Jordan Ayew were handed respective 6s.
