Why Ndidi wants to leave Leicester as value plummets

At this site recently, we have been writing about the best players currently in the Leicester City squad. Naturally names such as Mads Hermansen, Abdul Fatawu and Bilal El Khannouss cropped up very quickly. Obviously it could be extremely difficult for the Foxes to secure each star's short-term future. Clearly contracts mean nothing when an external club offers significant fees for unsettled footballers wanting out of an organisation.

We have also voiced our opinions regarding the inferior athletes on the roster this season as we see it. They include Wout Faes, in spite of his more competent exploits for top national outfit Belgium. The Belgian's are 8th in the FIFA World Rankings. However, the centre back appears lost in the Premier League despite a skill set which should be at least satisfactory. Other LCFC stars such as City's respective starting full backs were thoroughly incompetent. James Justin and Victor Kristiansen looked pretty poor for the entirety of this expiring campaign.

Two Foxes who I consider decent are midfield duo Boubakary Soumare and Wilfred Ndidi. At times during his Leicester career, the latter seemed invincible due to adhesive, ball-winning feet. Although Ndidi can occasionally look ordinary: he's more regularly outmuscled or outthought by EPL opponents in the middle of the pitch.

Soumare, meanwhile, is a kind of dissimilar midfield protagonist. He has the deft touch and intricate mobility to evade the opposition. But, especially when tiring, he can turnover the ball even more frequently than the Nigeria international. So would City be in trouble if either or both left this summer? Possibly. I'd rather retain the Frenchman and a fresher approach. We also have Oliver Skipp and Harry Winks. Yet it is Ndidi who is expected to depart. What's the story there?

Does Wilfred Ndidi want to leave Leicester City with his value plummeting?

Maybe Ndidi would like to finally obtain the big transfer which many incorrectly assumed he'd already have:

"That's according to Turkish-Football.com who claim another stint in the second tier isn't something the midfielder is keen on [and] that he is 'open' to the prospect of Champions League football at Galatasaray.

...Once being worth £50 million, Ndidi is now currently valued at around £15 million according to TransferMarkt, with a couple of more seasons left on his contract."
