Reports from Italy are stating that Leicester City are lining up a €15m bid for 22 year old Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes.
The Argentinian has gathered interest from both Liverpool and Leicester City, however with Leicester City lining up a €15m bid for his services they look to be in the lead to gain the 22 year old’s services according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Roma are willing to sell the 22 year old midfielder but are not willing to sell for as low as €15m and are expected to accept no less than €20m in order to allow the player to leave for the East Midlands.
Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri said:
"“Every day they link us with a new player,”"
"“That’s what the transfer window does. You’re right, I didn’t deny it. He’s a player I like.”"
Leandro Paredes isn’t the only player being linked to the champions of England with Diego Laxalt’s agent speaking to the media about apparent interest in the wingers’ services from the foxes.
Should Jeff Schlupp leave, Diego Laxalt will be his replacement on the left flank, creating competition for both Albrighton and Gray as wingers and potentially Fuchs and Chilwell as wing-backs if necessary.
Schlupp is set to hold contract talks with Ranieri this week to settle on a compromise which will see the young Ghanaian have more playing time.
Despite appearing 24 times during Leicester City’s title winning season, Schlupp saw little game time as he was often used as a substitution on late in the game for Albrighton, as he offers a more direct style of play to Alrbrighton, who prefers to cross the ball rather than run at defenders.

Schlupp now faces even more competition with winter signing Gray getting the nod ahead of Albrighton. With a £12m offer on the way from West Brom for Schlupp’s services, time will tell if he’ll remain a Leicester City player by the time the window closes.
